Dr. Tee Stock has been a complete game-changer for multiple OT skills and goals for our daughter, Kay. Kay had OT before working with Tee both at school and in a 1-on-1 setting. Her sessions with Tee have been the most positive, effective experience Kay has had by far. We attribute this to a handful of factors. The first is that Tee established a great rapport with Kay and meets Kay where she is at. Tee took the time to discern when Kay feels happy and proud as well as what motivates her. Using the CO-OP method, Tee involved Kay in setting goals and made sure Kay was set up to succeed to reach those goals. They check in about how she feels about each skill before and after each lesson. The result is that Kay has been motivated and “bought-in” on everything from individual goals such as tying her shoes to larger efforts like the Astronaut Training program to reset her vestibular system so she no longer gets car sick. Tee has helped Kay make significant progress in learning cursive, impressing teachers and classmates alike as her handwriting has become quicker and more legible. At the same time, Tee has shown us how we can effectively support Kay at home while allowing Kay to be independent. She has also provided suggestions to the school so we can work even better with her teacher as a partner. We are incredibly grateful for the work Tee does with Kay and would strongly recommend her to anyone!

My husband and I found Dr. Tee Stock to work with our 4-year-old, who we knew had some sensory processing challenges and rigid behaviors. At the time what we understood about occupational therapy was limited to watching an early interventionist perform joint compressions and give him pillow squishes. To say that we have learned a lot from Tee is an understatement.

When she met our son, Tee performed several evaluations in order to develop a plan to best serve his needs. We now see her once weekly and she works on improving a variety of his skills, including gross motor, focus and attention, adaptive life, fine motor, and so much more. She is attentive to changes in his routine and behaviors and alters his schedules to make the most of her time with him.

Tee has introduced us to different approaches to handle challenging situations that come up. She is never short on new suggestions and ideas to work a problem. She knows her stuff and is also incredibly patient and calm. As an added bonus she is punctual, organized, and always professional.

Tee has also walked us through some of the more complicated steps in this journey. She has made herself available to explain confusing parts of his IEP, how to navigate our health insurance, and has been a reassuring voice during, particularly difficult moments. I would recommend Tee without hesitation to someone looking for an occupational therapist.

Changing schools is very disruptive, but add that to a move across the country, a hard situation becomes that much harder. One of my first priorities, when we arrived in Needham, was I found a new, really amazing OT for my son recently diagnosed with NLD. From the first moment Tee welcomed us into her home office I knew we had made the right choice.  She transitioned him smoothly from his larger therapy practice using the same workbooks and tools.  Her demeanor and communication skills were exactly what he needed to build trust. He is relaxed and focused enough on her to do the hard work he needs to.  In only six months Tee has improved his fine motor and handwriting skills to the level that he no longer has identifiable deficits for his grade level.  The progress in this short time is remarkable and makes me keep feeling optimistic.

I have known Tee for over five years since she began working with my oldest child at our house. Now she works with three of my children, my older child, and twins who were born prematurely, and they always enjoy their sessions with her. Tee comes prepared, with many activity ideas to meet their goals and challenges but also activity ideas that they get excited about and look forward to doing. My children have balance and motor planning challenges, yet they are excited about complicated obstacle courses that Tee prepares. They are almost as good as me in yoga now. My children have all made significant gains in the areas that Tee has worked with them on. While working with my kids, she always observes and gives suggestions on various subjects, such as home and school recommendations and behavior modification. Tee is very responsible, flexible, and caring and we value her expert advice. I recommend her highly to other families. I am happy to speak to any family who wishes.

I met Tee when she was Co-Chair of SEPAC (Special Education Parent Advisory Council) in Needham a number of years ago. Then when I was Chair, she was extremely supportive and always had ideas that no one else would think of. She is tenacious, committed, very caring, and extremely knowledgeable about many aspects of kids with special needs. I wish she had been practicing when my two kids were younger. I know she would have made a world of difference.
